What makes you happy and thankful?

My family and health. My wife and daughter are what I'm most thankful for and the fact that I am able be strong and healthy considering my age after all these years.

What in nature inspires you?

Nature’s super foods inspire me! The fact that everything our bodies need to remain healthy and in a state of wellness grows naturally on earth is amazing and inspiring to me.

Tell us about yourself and your art

I currently writing a hip-hop musical in conjunction with a company called Rhymes over beat. It's going to loosely based on my albums Disposable Arts, A Long Hot Summer and The Falling Season.

What is your greatest achievement to date?

I'm still working towards that greatest achievement. Time will tell.

What song best describes your life?

Take a Walk. On that song I play the role of tour guide taking the listener through my neighbourhood in Brownsville, Brooklyn.

If you could build a time machine what time would you travel to?

I would travel forward a hundred years to see if racism, greed and violence was over.

Writer and hip-hop artist from Brooklyn, NY, Traum Diggs has an impressive repertoire. He has opened for the likes of Talib Kweli, Jean Grae, Styles P and Pharoahe Monch. The single Sax Fifth Avenue Flow”released independently in 2012, a respected and love track with underground hip-hop fans provided a spotlight. Along with music, Traum Diggs also co-hosts on 'A Guest In The House' podcast.

What makes you happy and thankful?

Spending time with my loved ones.

What message do you want to give others?

Don't be afraid. Feel fear for sure but do not be afraid. That's what I tell myself.

Who or what gives you your superpowers?

I would say The Eternal and my ancestors. I'm powered by all and who got me here.

What in nature inspires you?

Babies. I've been around a few babies recently and I'm fascinated by their alertness. They're really tapped in.

Tell us about yourself and your creative moves:

I am actually in a bit of a transition right now creatively. It used to be once a day I'd think of a rhyme; then once every 5; now it's more once every 10. I have a few verses that I haven't recorded that I may consider laying but as far as new material.

I'm not sure where Traum Diggs is at right now. I am hosting a podcast with my guy Dr. Mickey Hess called A Guest In The House. I'm enjoying that.

"We need to form a human chain back to the ancestors" Culture is Free will be linking up with Traum in the near future to find out more about his new project, The People vs The Anti-People. Keep informed!

Reminiscent of the 90’s, Kemi Sulola’s silky smooth vocals are wonderfully nostalgic. Her message is clear, positivity, warmth and love. Her sincere lyrics and emotive tones spark a cord and her passion for creating is clear.

What makes you happy and thankful?

My family makes me happy and thankful, they truly show me what love is and how to be fearless. My faith in God makes me happy and thankful because I see how he instructs me in hard times and still gives me peace when i need it.

What message do you want to give others? I want to give others the message of LOVE, that is what the world is in need of today, what we all seek and want from this life, if we really understood love, how to receive it/ how to give it we would all be in a better place. Understanding all its elements in its many roles.

Who or what gives you your superpowers?

I get my superpowers from many things I would say! Nature is one of the sources, it replenishes me and gives me the energy I need, the sun, air, food and water. Then my loved ones, again who motivate and encourage me. Ultimately both of these are given to me by the ultimate creator! I am a reflection of his superpower.

What in nature inspires you? Growth inspires me, change inspires me. Natures nature inspires me! It is not forced it just lives and continues, no matter the circumstance it will find a way to be what it is supposed to be. Like a plant outside, no one really goes to water it or feed it but it just takes what it can get from whats around it to become. So nature tells me to trust itself despite what is going around me.

Tell us about yourself and your creative moves: About me, ah this is a hard one, I'm simply just a human being trying to make the most of my life here on earth and my abilities through music, song and melody. Music is my expression and as a songwriter also I seek to use it to tell the stories of people, to be a voice for the voiceless, sometimes to entertain but mostly to uplift and encourage.
